Hi all this is my first post we have a HSE with a annoying clicking noise every time you pull away. Think i have tracked it down to the nearside 2nd row seat as this can make the same noise.

if the seat back is moved forward then fold it back to the upright position if the up switch is pressed again on the rear of the seat the same noise can be heard if you do the same to the drivers rear seat it seems to switch the up button off as if there is a back rest upright position...

view forum post
Hi,

Does anyone else's Discovery 5 drain the battery if the car is left unlocked overnight? If i do this, in the morning I will get a low battery warning on the dash and need to start the engine to charge the battery back up. I'm wondering if this is "normal" or not.

Thanks,

Hi,

I installed a new battery in My Discovery 5 HSE 2 years ago. Last Friday the battery was dead and i couldn't even unlock the car. Last Thursday the car ran perfectly fine.

I think there's a parasitic drain somewhere in the car, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to perform a test on all the fuses in these cars. The issue i see is that I need to lock the car, and leave the car 15mins for all the modules to go to sleep. However, how do i then...

view forum post

Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with a frustrating intermittent no-start issue on a 2019 Range Rover discovery 5 L462.
The vehicle sometimes starts and runs perfectly, but after it goes into sleep mode, it often fails to restart.
I’ve been diving into the CAN Bus diagnostics and found some unusual readings at the OBD port (Pin 6 & 14).
Here’s what I’ve observed:
Resistance Test (Battery Disconnected): - OBD Pin 6 to 14 reads 120 Ohms.
