Is there much improvement in the 21plate onwards ? Need to buy another disco as my sons old disco 3 has died so he's getting my 17 plate and wondered is it worth stretching to a 21 plate ?
In particulare is the ride smoother as find the 17 plate a bit rough in comparision to similare age RRS but prefer the practicality of the disco

view forum post

Hello folks.

Ive just purchased a late 2022 D5 HSE R Dynamic with full black interior.

After a decent set of front seat covers.

Are genuine good or better ones out there?

Thanks in advance 😎👍🏻

view forum post

Good evening,

I have owned my 2017 D5 3.0 HSE since October 25 and really love it.

My only query is if I leave the car for a week or more, I get the 'Low Battery - Start Engine' come up on the dash. Is this a common thing or should I renew the battery?

I tend to user the car only for longer runs as I understand they don't like being used on short journeys in town as it can clog up the emissions systems. Otherwise I would use it a lot...

view forum post

I have acquired a scratch on the grey/silver bumper which just needs a bit of filler and a paint touch up.

I cannot find which paint colour it is! It’s not identified in the VIN and I am given to understand that there isn’t a paint code for this just an ethereal JLR name like “ceres grey” or something like that.

Has anyone done a touch up and discovered what the color is?thx

view forum post

Hi guys,

We are picking up a 2022 R-Dynamic D250 MHEV (60k miles) on Friday (main dealer) and when questioned, the sales guys told us that there were no timing belts that needed to be replaced!

Google suggests that this isn’t the case, but I wanted to know what the official schedule is for the belt changes.

Is it part of the official service schedule?

What’s the cost of the belt change, as I can factor this into the deal.

view forum post
_________________
2022 3.0 D250 R-Dynamic SE Auto - Namib Orange

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the spam, but we are excited to have our new to us 2022 R-Dynamic SE D250 arriving next week. I am looking at mats / boot liners / roof vars etc to fit the car and I note that some adverts state different years for suitability.

Are there any restrictions on buying mats etc/ for D5's prior to 2022, or are they all interchangable. I thought that the facelift in 2021, was for external cosmetic features only?

Thank you
...

view forum post
_________________
2022 3.0 D250 R-Dynamic SE Auto - Namib Orange
