Does any one else find pivi pro postcodes a couple of miles out. Had to resort to my phone a couple of times now, Why would this be, does it only search to the first 6 digits or something, although it does give an exact point on the map only a couple of miles from where that postcode area actually is.

view forum post
Hi all this is my first post we have a HSE with a annoying clicking noise every time you pull away. Think i have tracked it down to the nearside 2nd row seat as this can make the same noise.

if the seat back is moved forward then fold it back to the upright position if the up switch is pressed again on the rear of the seat the same noise can be heard if you do the same to the drivers rear seat it seems to switch the up button off as if there is a back rest upright position...

view forum post
Hi

Managed to catch a wall with the nearside mirror (my fault!!!!) and wondered if anyone can recommend an aftermarket or OEM supplier for the upper mirror cap that actually fits like the original before I commit to the LR part.

Experience with some aftermarket body parts is that the clips don't always line up as they should.

Thanks

PS .always though the mirror caps were body coloured (Santorini Black) but they are Gloss...

view forum post
Car's going into the dealer for an MOT in a couple of weeks, and I'm conscious it's not had an air-con re-gas in the time I've owned it. Given refrigerant leak rates, and wanting it to perform well for the summer, I was going to get it done at the same time.

Dealer (Surrey-based) has quoted £285, which sounds pretty steep. What would you expect to pay, bearing in mind location in the South East?

And if cheaper at a fast-fit place, is it a very commonplace...

view forum post
_________________
MY23.5 D5 3.0 MHEV Metropolitan Edition – Santorini Black – Ebony Windsor Leather – 21” Style 5025 gloss black wheels – 21” full size spare tyre – Black roof rails – Black side mouldings - Williams Ceramic Coat. Hi,

Does anyone else's Discovery 5 drain the battery if the car is left unlocked overnight? If i do this, in the morning I will get a low battery warning on the dash and need to start the engine to charge the battery back up. I'm wondering if this is "normal" or not.

Thanks,
Hi,

I installed a new battery in My Discovery 5 HSE 2 years ago. Last Friday the battery was dead and i couldn't even unlock the car. Last Thursday the car ran perfectly fine.

I think there's a parasitic drain somewhere in the car, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to perform a test on all the fuses in these cars. The issue i see is that I need to lock the car, and leave the car 15mins for all the modules to go to sleep. However, how do i then...

view forum post
Hello, newbie to the forum here.

Is there a paint code for the trim as pictured please or are there several different shades available to make it awkward to find the correct one.

Many thanks in advance.
