LR today announced the thinning out of the D5 range to just S, Landmark, & Tempest. Looks like final runout of D5, so I guess round 12 months max.

view forum post
_________________
24MY D300 Dynamic SE, Fuji White, Deployable Towbar, full size spare.

Group 1 (the artist formerly known as Inchcape) have closed their dealership in my hometown.

It now means a 45mile trip to the nearest JLR dealer.

At one time, I would have said that was short sighted for a major UK agricultural area, but I guess farmers are turning away from JLR products as workhorses. Or maybe more and more people have had enough of 2nd class service from main dealers and using independent garages?

Mea culpa.

view forum post
I attended the 'Landys on the Lawn' event at Hatfield House on Sunday 21st June in my 2017 D5 with my sons in a 2006 D3 and at 2010 110 and my wife, daughter in law and seven of our grand children.

There were around 90-100 Land Rovers there ranging from early series, old school defenders, classic range rovers, discoveries (mostly 2's, only one disco 1), P 38s, L322, an Evoque, a Freelander and a couple of new Defender 110s and 80s and a 2025 plate D5.

I've lived in the same house for 21 years and there's been a Discovery sat on the drive for the last 16 of them. During that entire time, not a single bird has shown the slightest interest in it.🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

Then, about 10 days ago, a local crow appears to have become absolutely obsessed with the car.

It started innocently enough. He'd sit on the wing mirrors and peck at his reflection in the glass, and then poo all down the side of the car. Dear All,
Not a new landrover owner here but certainly a new Disco 5 owner as of a few days ago . (2022 D300 HSE)
Researching what engine oil to use for the D300, for UK & Irish climate should it be 0W30 or 5W30?
what are people using in the D300 and whats the advice?
Sorry if this has been covered before.

Can anyone tell me if these will fit the disco 5. I have 21 inch on already but they need a refurb. These may be a cheaper option, and they are a nice pattern. They are genuine land rover, and just been refurbed, but i can't get a definitive answer off the internet.

Hi, my car seems to a long way behind on the software updates and was last updated in 2022.
I'm guessing the car should accept the current update but not sure why it's not updating.
So far I've tried the following:

Reset system by holding down the on/off button for 10 seconds.
Have done a factory reset of the system and set it back up again.
The battery has been disconnected a couple of times as I had the drivers airbag off.
