The volume air sensor I believe is the sensor fitted to the Venturi which is clipped to the throttle body? I have swapped with my l405 with a similar engine and no current faults, made no difference at all. Sadly.

Thanks both the throttle body was in fact a 3rd party part. It came with a new MAP sensor but I have also attempted to fit the old one back as prior to the current fault it came up with no OBD codes.

Hi Mole,

I had cause to replace the throttle body on my tdv6.
I installed a third party throttle body and started getting all sorts of faults showing up.
Turned out to be simply poorly fitting air intake and egr pipe.
It was also a pita to fit.
Eventually fitted an original lr throttle body, simplest installation, everything fitted and all the fault messages disappeared.
Don't know if that's relevant to this problem?

Hi Dtac.

I don't think you cleaning the throttle body had much to do with this, if the butterfly valve isn't sticking and the boost sensor isn't chucking out turbo overboost warnings on the dash, you should be fine... From the symptoms you describe, it still sounds suspiciously like a MAF sensor rather than anything mechanically complicated like air leaks, injectors or stuck valves, I looked up the fault codes on your list and it offered this...

Hi guys
I am desperately looking for some help or guidance, the other day foolishly or not cleaned the throttle body out with some carb cleaner since then the engine has been suffering with a misfire or similar. It appears to be only from the bank on the drivers side.
Obd fault codes are:-
P00bf
P2621
P0102
P010c
P0107
I have replaced the throttle body and coded that into the car
Smoke tested the manifolds throttle...
