The jack should be in a bag along with the wheel brace, it should also be held in place by a rubber bungee strap to stop it rattling about once fitted into the cavity. It should also be resting on a piece of grey foam padding to keep it off the wiring...Hang on...I'll go out and take some pics of mine for comparison.

Apologies that my boot insert is in the way, but it's a pain to take it out just for the sake of a pic or 2. ...

Hello,

Thanks for letting me into the forum. I’ve just moved from an F-Pace to a 2020 MY Discovery 5 and really enjoying it.

I’m hoping you can help with a query, as I don’t have any other D5’s to compare against. When I purchased the car, I noticed that Jack boot cover wasn’t shutting properly and after reseating the jack, I can now get it to close but I’m worried about the fact the base of the jack sits on the earth strap that’s in that...
