Yes that screenshot is with my Vin number in, I don’t think that alters much as it still mentions Korea models

Good spot.

I see that’s from the 2025 IGUIDE and that the distance has changed from 600mm to 1m from the Incontrol version.

I wonder if that signifies a definite change in the operation of the camera and whether it was ‘absent’ for some years and reintroduced for 2025?

Well, that manual extract definitely says Pivi Pro should zoom as well! Keep hassling Land Rover, be great if they issued a fix.

Ahh, i had it on the D4 and found it great, it wasn't bob on but after 10 years you learn how far out it is and accommodate

No mine is an SI6 petrol beastie, pre pivi pro.

I suspect this difference is more to do with a change in the camera lens that coincided with the change to pivi pro rather than it being the root cause.

Yet another moment of shortsightedness by JLR….why would a vehicle meant to tow ever have a need for precise hitch assist?

If it makes you feel any better, the zoom doesn’t make alignment foolproof. I frequently find the arc of the hitch...

Thanks all for looking, i found the below on the I Guide, i have put my vin number in which doesn't make any difference in the I Guide, Wolfpack for some reason i thought yours was a 2025 Model which got me excited but i have re read your post and realised my mistake, going to carry on pestering LR.

Thanks Discus, wonder why Wolfmans works and not ours, dealer said they are going to put a query into topix to try to find the problem,

Mine is the same, no zoom. Deployable towbar, and get the single line to guide the towbar to the trailer but doesn't zoom in as you get closer.

Update, been to the dealers today and no joy, they tried to tell me I might not have hitch assist and got a salesman involved, when he realized I have the towing package and advanced towing pack he said it should have hitch assist. They had another 74 plate D350 there with tow ball so we tried that, which also didn’t zoom in.
Does anyone else have an issue with this on a 25 MY or does everyone else’s work?

Can’t believe they would remove something which helps...
