For winter & off-road use, I have a 2nd set of wheels. 20" wheels are cheap and easy to get e.g. on eBay. General Grabber AT3 tyres size 255/55R20 are great tyres, quiet on road, good off-road and have the 3PMS winter rating. They're also one of the standard sizes for the D5, so they're a direct swap.

I've been running the 22" wheels over the summer but will be swapping back to the 20" wheels very soon. I spend more time driving on the 20s than the 22s.

My current tyres are 275/45/21 and while they’re still legal and a good brand Pirelli. I’m looking at changing them. I pretty much always go for All season known brands, but there’s not a lot of choice esp if you opt for 4x4.
Questions
What brands do you opt for?
Do they have to be specific 4x4?
Are there alternative sizes I could opt for width ratio?
Any other tyre choice advice?
