    165 point pre check

    Asking for a friend

    They have recently purchased a 2nd hand vehicle from a JGL garage which has supposedly had the 165 point check….

    1 tyre has a completely different tyre tread level to other side,Should the garage not be changing tyres in pair’s prior to sale to meet the minimum tread level or is this the norm?

    Also what is the minimum length of time prior to a fixed service interval they can sell a vehicle without having to service prior to sale ?

    Your friend might be better contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau him or her self.

    Sad really,As soon as you have pay’d they couldn't care less.
