      Thanks for that Peter

I'm wonder why they're not allowed to road test them? I thought perhaps it was because they are pre-production models that they aren't road legal but I'm sure that someone on the other forum had seen them parked up in a service area.

Not sure Bill, perhaps they want to get the engine management tuning spot on before letting the hacks report on them?
I remember my D4 in early days used to roar off at slightest touch of throttle & software had to be updated.
At least this report suggests it's better off road & just as rugged.... a blow for the "Chelsea mummies"

Autotrader review stated that the V6 diesel will get 39.2 mpg highway. That is extreme for a 7 passenger suv. Can anyone else confirm that mpg estimate is correct?

Divide those figures by 1.20095 to get the US stats.

Ah, so 39 divided by 1.2 still yields over 32 mpg US. That's amazing.

What do we have to multiply the cost of a US Gallon by to see how much we get charged for the stuff here in the UK

To keep my mind active I'll do the arithmetic:

Average price of a US gallon of diesel in Jan 17 = $2.56
Multiplied by 1.20095 to get UK Gallon equivalent price = $3.07
Divide that by the exchange rate of 1.25 = £2.51 per UK gallon
Divide that by 4.54609 (litres to UK gallon ) = £0.55 per litre.
Seems about right.
