    Oil level

I forgot too mention this when I came across it a few weeks back and again tonight. Has anyone got this too work??
The rest of the functions like tyre pressures all work apart from the oil level one.
Or does it mean that there is an issue and I require a new update, even though the car has the latest V3 update apparently Confused

That's because you've looked too soon after the engine was running. Check when the engine is cold.

Thanks Discostu, i will take a look this morning. Car was sitting for at least 2 hours yesterday before I checked. I did have the engine on briefly ticking over when rechecking various options and settings via the digital dash though.

Even ‘briefly‘ sprays oil all around the engine, meaning that a level check will be incorrect. There’s a timer to ensure that the oil has drained back to sump.

Thanks for that. Yes I should have realised that you always check oil level when car is cold. Still need too read the manual properly. Only just skimmed through it Laughing

Get in the car when cold, DONT put foot on the brake and press start button, dash will come to life and allow you to scroll through to the oil level which will or should then work. If you turn over or start the enigine the level will not work

    Thanks Russ Thumbs Up

I was taking photos of the dash last night and fiddling with the settings when I came across the oil level feature again.

Car was started briefly, and I had it in reverse too show the P icon flashing and various icons which I am having issues with. I have just posted all photos now under the parking sensor thread Thumbs Up

I've always thought my D4 was a bloke, as it has 2 dangly bits at the back (harmonic balancers) and it farts when the suspension settles.
