  Huawei P20 Mate Pro Issue / Software Update InControl

  Hi Guys,
  
  I am new to this forum - so HI
  
  I own a 2017 (December) HSE TD6 Disco 5. I bought a new phone (HUAWEI MATE 20 PRO) but have the problem that the Infotainment doesnt recognize my phone.
  
  The last software update was done in November 2018 - so i already had Android and Apple Car Play installed and working with my previous iPhone.
  
  Our local LR Dealer told me of a new update in Jan. 2019 which should take care of this issue. They now told me that the update has been released but they wouldnt install it on the cars because there are too many new bugs and they want to have them fixed by LR first. Also he said that once the new Jan. 2019 Update is installed you cannot downgrade to the "old" one....
  
  Does anyone know whats going on or can give me advice?
