  Infotainment cutting in and out

  I have recently purchased disco5 from approved dealer and have problems with sound on the infotainment system.
  The sound comes on for about 2-3 seconds and then drops out for about one second, back on again for 2-3 seconds and then drops out again continuously.
  
  Dealership carried out software update but the problem remains.
  This is only with the sound. including sat nav, CD, TV, phone and radio. TV picture remains on but sound cutting out as described.
  
  This is so frustrating that I am considering taking advantage of 30 day money back.
  
  Any thoughts or ideas or fixes for this issue or has anyone else had similar problems?
