    VIN on Vehicles from Slovakia

    Is the VIN on cars made in Slovakia different from UK vehicles?

    I think it ought to be as dont some the the numbers/characters denote the place of origin?

    It is the character before the 6 digit serial number, an A means built at Solihull.
