SEAT BELT NOTIFICATION
Hi, anyone know how you turn on the seatbelt notification on the dashboard? Ie the picture that shows you what belts are fastened etc? mine seems to have disappeared and cant for the life of me find it. It was handy to tell when kids had put belts on etc.
cheers

Don’t think you can turn it off actually...
I have digital dash and it shows green seats were people are detected and buckled in, red if unbuckled. I can click on ‘ok’ and then in disappears, but when unbuckled it shows again and a at restart it shows again.

Actually you can:
Go to ‘vehicle settings’ and then ‘show warnings’ and it will show.

I find the warnings on the dash pretty useful but I would love to be able to disable the audible alert if I drive off without my seatbelt on. I'm fine with the dash symbol flashing, but the boing drives me crazy if I'm just moving the car around the block or off-road without my seatbelt on.
The first thing I did with my D3 when it was new was to put the seatbelt clasp in and out 10 times to disable it, but it didn't work with the D5.
Does anyone know if the "boing" can be disabled?

You can disable the charms mate. Open door and insert release drivers seat belt 10 times iirc

Just be careful. I did that on my D4 then one day my wife got in while I rounded up the dogs. Drove off then got to a random breath test, drove away from there then she tells me "oh I haven't got my belt on". That was a close call, would have been 6 points (out of 12) plus a fine if they had seen it (the driver gets the fine here).
Ever since, mine is "bonging" again.
