    Interior lights

    Hello All,

My D5 has to go to the dealer to sort out a couple of very minor "quirks", but I think I might have found another one.

Could someone check for me... when you stop the engine and open a door (from the inside!!), do the interior lights come on, or does the car remain "dark"?

I THOUGHT that mine used to do this, but it doesn't seem to do it now.

If I press the button to turn the interior lights on, they all come on, but not when I open a door.

Before I complain, I just want to make sure that it is not either a setting, or that it is "supposed" to do this.

    Thanks everyone.

    Nick

Yes, they come on...but, it's something that you can switch on or off.

    Quote:
Front interior courtesy light: To switch on or off, touch the centre of the lens briefly. To switch automatic illumination on or off, touch the lens until the light flashes. In auto mode, the lights illuminate when a door is opened.

Thanks... I had just found that, and have activated and tested it.

    Before anyone says it... RTFM!!
