Loire Blue v Portofino Blue
In my local Jaguar dealer I found a colour swatch for the new Portofino Blue that’s now replaced Loire Blue on all JLR cars. I’ve posted a VERY short side-by-side video comparison of the two colour swatches here if it’s of interest to anyone.
Obviously there’s no substitute for seeing them on real cars, but as that’s not really an option right now this is at least gives some idea - basically “the same but different“
(And sorry for the vertical video - believe me, I hate myself for that even more than you do!)

Thanks for doing that.
I find the portofino has a brighter blue which is nice but the Loire has a nice pearl metallic effect in the paint.

Brilliant, thank you! I will be looking closely at this as I've 'had to' order portofino following the withdrawal of LB. On a onfigurator it looks nigh-on identical, but clearly not in real life.
Intending to head to a jag dealer for comparison soon.

Yeah, the Loire blue has very visible metallic flecks whereas the Portofino is more of a ‘flat’ metallic. How much of that you’d notice at a distance though I don’t know.
