    LR Service Advisors

Some service advisors go the extra mile to make our lives better.
My 2017 Si6 displayed a steady amber ‘check engine’ light at 20K miles.
Fortunately I had a BlueDriver code reader which reads out on your smartphone.
It coded P0042 which is a heater control circuit bank - oxygen sensor?.

I went to my dealer but was told they’re fully booked for 10 days and no loaners available until then.
My advisor was off but the next day he arranged for me to go to another dealer for a loaner/repair.
The following day my car is ready for pickup.
The kicker is he knew I would be moving out of town in just 4 days and couldn’t wait around for a service
    opening.

A big shout out to Steve at Glen Cove NY JLR.

This is generally the single biggest thing Land Rover can do to improve their reputation - focus on dealer service satisfaction. Understanding that dealers are franchisees and not JLR employees proper, this is also the single most difficult aspect of their challenge.

When you find a good dealer, stick with them.
