Amber warning lights Brake forward Alert Drive with Caution
I have had major problems with yellow warning lights Forward Brake Alert, Cruise, Hill descent and Stability Control not working, plus message Drive with Caution. 6 days first dealer visit failed to fix second visit 18th November... today dealer rang and said needs software upgrade which will not be available till February 2020.. unbelievable.
I have a Disco 5 V6 on loan..as the car in the dealer is rented from LR and I am a LR retiree I am lucky its not my money.. a previous loan car 2020 Evoque broke down.
Previous car went wrong 36 hrs after collection..a rodent had eaten the wiring during transit from Nitra and 4 weeks waiting for parts at Upper Heyford.
The car before that had 8 weeks off the road in 14 months..new VVT, engine strip,then new engine, 2 deployable towbars replaced, numerous amber engine warning light incidents.

Presumably theyre lending you another D5 until February then?
2023 D300 Metropolitan, Hakuba Silver, Low Range, Solar screen, Deployable towbar, FBH, sidesteps.

I agree with Mordred. Anything else would be unacceptable.

Infact Oilydavid, how long have you had the car? If not long do you have the opportunity to reject the car?

I currently have:
Cruise not available;
Forward alert not available over 80km/h;
Intelligent Emergency Braking system not available;
Spare tyre low (no it isn't).
2 weeks and 500km old. Back to the dealer on Monday.
Nine out of five pilots are lysdexic.
