Brake Caliper Clearance
Anyone know if the brake calipers have changed size on the Disco between 2017 and 2019? I bought steel wheels to put winter tyres on and when I have tried them they don't clear the caliper!?!?! They are from 4x4tyres.co.uk and are listed for the Disco 5 2017> and having told them they don't fit I'm being told that Land Rover must have changed the calliper size because those wheels fit a 2017/18MY.

I believe they did on the SDV6 306hp. Others have mentioned struggling with smaller wheels than standard for the model.

Ah OK thanks for the reply. Looks like I now have to face either mega bucks for OE alloys to put winter tyres on, or the hassle of letting a tyre monkey swap my tyres on and off twice a year

You can get a set of 20” style 5011 with brand new tyres off eBay for £950.
Suggest do that and swap the new tyres for winters, then sell the unused tyres or keep them depending on your annual mileage.
