Had some -18F temps in the high country of CO this week. Front end had dropped, and truck threw a suspension fault upon starting, with drivers side not raising. Descending to lower elevation where temp had risen to “zero” and restarting, cleared fault and all was well. Wonder if a valve was frozen closed? Anyone else in colder locations experienced similar behavior? Had a RR that would drop in extreme cold, and they replaced front struts, was hoping this had been sorted. My 2005 LR3 (D3), drops, but it’s 15 years old! Will try to post some pics. Diesel was not a happy engine, did not want to turn over.

Haven't had mine colder than single digits F this year and it's been OK so far. Haven't had issues at those temps previously.
Have you had the TSB / recall performed to replace the air suspension valves? Not sure that was to address condensation but was to address unexpected failure, I think including due to moisture and frost buildup.
I always put the white DieselKleen in the tank if I'm going to be leaving it out overnight in the mts. Seems to help it crank a little more quickly.
I think no matter what, PV=nRT always applies, so if temperature in a closed system drops, so will pressure, and the reduction of both can cause what little moisture is in Colorado winter air to condense and then freeze.
Thanks I will search TOPIx for the TSB. Yeah, I’ve only had issues in Crested Butte, they ended up replacing the front struts on my 12 RR, because it kept dropping during winter visits. I will give the DieselKleen a shot, really thought the battery was going to flat before she turned over.
