I had wanted to replace the badges since I got the D5 over two years ago, and I finally got around to it. These are cheap badges from amazon, but they look and fit fine. I used a heat gun (on low), a thin plastic spatula, GooGone, and liberal use of my fingernails to take off the old badges and adhesive, and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Putting the new ones on was also pretty straightforward. I took them out of the foam guide they come in in order to space them a bit wider. I used a seperate piece of painters tape for each letter to mark an even space from the lower edge of the hood, which is easier than it sounds. I may do the same in the back or leave it debadged.
