Pathetic Service on Water Leak-What Options
I've had a first edition from new which has had nothing but problems, trim falling of on collection etc. In hindsight I should have walked away after week one but foolishly stuck it out.
On Dec the 13th I took it in as it was misting up and I feared a water leak,. Long story short, its been back and forth without success and back and forth to repair the bodywork damage that Guy Salmon in Coventry caused whilst trying to fix it. Then back again to repair the trim that they destroyed removing the carpet.
We got it back the weekend before the lockdown with a broken bonnet release, a roof rail detached and some trim missing from the rear but couldn't return it due to lockdown.
Well tonight I rinsed the dust off the car and the rear carpets are soaked through. Five months and they still haven't fixed what it went in for.
To date I've spent over 160hrs (Documented) unnecessarily on this car. I sent a rejection letter within the first month of ownership but was convinced to "give it one more chance"
Does any one have any idea of what if any options I have?

Still in the dealer, now out of warranty, haven’t used the car since before Christmas.

I’m not sure where you stand legally what with the car being 3 years old now, but if it were me I’d write to head office documenting all issues, cc’ing the dealer principle. It might force some positive action.
Other than that... Citizens Advice maybe?

Need more details.
What significant faults were present on collection?
When did the significant faults develop and what were they exactly?
When did you buy the car and how many miles has it done?

I take it you both have had the windscreen replaced as they came out of the factory without enough sealant and therefore leaked badly.
Strangely it took a while for mine to start leaking enough though it is outside all the time.

These were the faults on collection:
NS Sill Trim detached, not clipped in correctly
OS roof gutter trim only resting in place
NS Rear front egde door seal not attached
OS boot trim not fitted correctly
NS roof gutter trims loose
Parking system intermittent and “dim witted”
Bag hook in Passenger footwell failed
Gesture tailgate 80% OS operation 10% NS operation
Hesitation at pull off
"Gearbox not in park" warnings when in park
Drivers door frame bent, not fitting correctly
Scratch on internal door pillar
Green mark in paint on roof (in or under laquer)
Inclusions in paint OS wing
Passenger door fit poor
Since then we've had
A new Infotainment unit as it was crashing
The NS Door trim destroyed itself on opening a window so needed replacing
The climate/aircon failed
Cameras and views change/switch off at random
Parking sensors “glitch” and are slower to respond manoeuvring speed, go from slow beep to solid tone
Bluetooth phones often have issues connecting/operating for phone and audio.
Usb connection so random we never bother
Park assist will cut off half way through
Gesture tailgate never worked
I'm missing plenty of things based around the infotainment, it has improved gently with each update but still awful.
Then in December the water leak started and is still not resolved. Ive been informed today that the parts won't be manufactured until Mid July and then will take time to get through the system. I don't think they will even attempt a return until August.
Its basically been back and forth for the entire of our ownership. We purchased it new in March 2017, I haven't seen the car for so long that I can't remember mileage but approx 11000.
A lot of the trim and body fit problems remain since day one.

Wow, i feel for you. I had a repeating sensor issue at 4/5 months old and successfully rejected.
My recommendation would be to talk to the Head of Customer Services at the dealer [group], explain the hell that you have been through and ask them to support a case with Land Rover asking for some support into a new deal. That's if you want another, of course.
Other than that, if keeping...At the very least, I would be expecting some tangible offers of goodwill - the very first being a gratis warranty extension to 5 years old.
Your experience has been utterly unacceptable and it should not have got to this point.

Goodwill?
My last email with LR was to inform me that my warranty had expired (March 21st) They wouldn't supply a loan car, nor would Guy Salmon..
I've communicated at length with the customer service rep for the dealer and LR and am up against a brick wall.
Edited highlights of their email:
Please feel assured that I have contacted XXXXXXXXXX, Customer Experience Manager and asked that you are contacted in relation to the progress on your vehicle. In relation to the repair cost, once a diagnosis has been reached, each Land Rover approved retailer is empowered to offer a goodwill gesture on behalf of Jaguar Land Rover, as a contribution towards the repair, should they feel it justified and all factors will be taken into consideration.
Considering the history with the car you can imagine how I felt when I received it.
