    2019 Discovery SDV6 HSE Lux Carpathian Grey

    Front windscreen heater

    In my first MY20, the front screen heating would switch on automatically when I started the engine in certain conditions - temperature related I guess.

    My new one doesn’t do this, but I can’t find where the setting is to enable it.

    Any ideas chaps?

    I think in the infotainment system, you go to settings, then I think climate settings, then there is an Auto on / off toggle. Hope that's right.

    Explains why I couldn’t find it. That link opens as a MY19 page. My app is set to MY20 and misses out that key bullet, it starts at air purity!

    Now, both my cars have been MY20, but will this one have the setting or not?! I will find out soon...

    Oh, right. Let us know if it is still an option. I can't believe they would remove a useful function on a newer model, but who knows.

    Just been out to the car and done it. Spot on, thanks chopsy.

    Options there for auto front and auto rear windscreens. Bizarre that the instructions aren’t in the app manual, but are on the MY19 webpage that you directed me too. Another thumbs up to the JLR IT department and what must be a myriad of disconnected teams working from their own data sources.
