Roof rail fitting
Hi
if I buy a car with no roof rails is it a faff to fit them later?

No.
Plenty of posts if you use the search facility. If you just put in “roof rails” 130 odd hits. Add “fitting” and your down to 5 including your own post.

I fitted mine at the weekend, very easy following Al's guide. I found the worst bit was getting the sticky residue left behind from the original ditch finishers. Save yourself a fair bit doing them yourself compared to what a dealer will charge.

If you are doing them yourself, at this time of year when its cold, either try and do the work in a warm garage, or if you are outside, warm the plastics up a bit first just so that they aren't "brittle"
