    Center console lights

    I have seen a few pictures of the HSE Lux with ambient lighting along the sides of the centre console. Does the HSE have this lighting in white ? I'm not taking about the 2021 model.

    The lighting can be changed from red, blue or white from memory. Can be adjusted from the infotainment screen. I don't know if the HSE has this feature though.

    My question is does the standard HSE without ambient lighting have White lights along the side of the center console ?

    my 2018 HSE doesnt seem to have this

    Nor my 2020 HSE, although the footwells and door bins are nicely lit, along with the moonlight in the roof panel.

    I actually find the interior quite bright at night, so am not sure id want it, and have programmed the favourite button on the steering wheel to turn off the top display and dim the internal lights.

    Hi Jon,

    how did you do that - i also find the infotainment to bright at night most of my local roads have no street lights so its like watching the telly in the dark...painful after a while.

    My 2017 HSE does have ambient white lights under the wood trim in the door, in the cupholders, under the rear seats,, and from the overhead console in the headliner shining down on the center console, but I don't believe it has them in the cubby under the climate control or along the outside of the center console shining into the footwell. I'll have to check....

    On the dimming thing above...

    Settings / all settings / favourite button

    I have short press to mute and long press to dim/wake. Works really well!

    Ok so it looks like the HSE Lux has additional lights in the centre console as well as being able to change the colours
