    Which 2017/2018 version to get?

    Hi all and hope you're well. New owner here soon hopefully, ideally seeking a HSE version or Dynamic HSE either 2017/18 year. Can anyone recommend which version to look at please.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I think, "Dynamic" is just styling - it looks a bit different but no functional difference. Go with whichever has the look that you prefer.

    2019 Discovery SDV6 HSE Lux Farallon Black

    As JonM says, Dynamic is cosmetic stuff.

    Dynamic outside is mainly front bumper and black instead of body colour rear number plate surround.
    Dynamic inside is metallic inserts in the doors / glovebox instead of wood, and different colour stitching on the seats. Blue instead of orange on the cream seats, not sure on black interior.

    They're the main ones anyway.

    Is there a big difference between the 2.0 and 3.0 engines?

    2017 Discovery Td6 HSE Fuji White

    Guess only true way to answer that is for you to drive both. I didn't consider a 2.0 mainly because I wanted an engine befitting of the premium luxury feel of the D5, hence I was only looking at Td6.

    Plenty of people in the groups have Sd4 and are quite happy with the performance, several using them to tow large caravans. I use my Td6 to tow 1800kg of caravan.

    The difference in fuel economy is not as great as many fear either....
    2023 D300 Metropolitan, Hakuba Silver, Low Range, Solar screen, Deployable towbar, FBH, sidesteps.
