    Drivetrain/Engine Issue

Hi - weird one, and going in to the dealers next week for a couple of minor warranty fixes but the main one is this...

On overrun there’s a transmission whine (bit like a worn diff or transfer box) and then when braking to a stop there’s a weird shunt - imagine you were manually changing down gears as you stopped but changed down a bit too quick and the engine would brake for you quite suddenly. It’s not like drivetrain shunt you get in worn propshafts (which feels like you’ve got dodgy trailer brakes) it’s definitely like an engine brake and you can see the revs changes as it down shifts too early. On both of those, it’s almost slightly like the characteristics of driving around in low range (but without the revs/torque)... if that makes sense?! Almost like the intertia you get with driving in low range...

    Any thoughts please?!
