    A nice place to be..........

Well I took the D5 to work today for the first time, managed to get my wife out of the driving seat.
In theatre from 6:45-11.20 then 1pm - 7. I was shattered and I got into the driving seat and instantly dropped two stress levels. It really is a nice comfortable place to spend time. Makes the Q5 seem quite boring.

Since the ignition issues it hasn't missed a beat. Road trip to Herefordshire on Sunday to visit parents so it will be nice to try it out on a decent run. Finally got round to programming the Homelink too. Button three is spare so I'm wondering what I can use this with. Maybe automatically opening a bottle of wine?

    Have a good weekend guys....

When I'm not in the operating theatre, I'm mountain biking, spending time with my family, running and socialising. I have a Discovery 5 HSE Lux with pretty much every option ticked. This is my first ever Land Rover. Been a rocky road with regards to reliability but we're getting there.

Hey Doc, any chance of you working your magic and fixing my brain as am seriously hedging towards an X5 tomorrow 😭. Hmmm glad you said the Q5 is boring as that's what I made of the Q7 test drive the other day, as I thought it was just me thinking that Laughing

Hmm, well emergency surgery is my bag so I'll have a go at anything Thumbs Up

You've had very bad service from what's supposed to be a premium manufacturer. I certainly wouldn't be happy. See what you think of the X5.

Ha ha thanks mates rates 👍
yes I know, expect service from the likes of ford or vauxhall not a prestigious brand like this lot. 😢
Well I thought it was OK, but not as smooth as the D5. Felt more car like. Its my wife's decision tomorrow that hinges on it though Rolling Eyes
