  Wheel Bearings

  I’m in the fortunate position of owning a couple of D5’s, My 17 plate with 46k miles on it has started exhibiting noise a week before I collect its replacement so is going in in the next few days to have a bearing replaced. My 68 plate with 80k miles that does a bit of towing has already had 2nr bearings replaced.
  
  I’ve got 600m of farm track to get up to get to the house, nothing too rough and always driven with care, I’ve always had concerns over the D5’s durability, but I can’t believe that the D5 is so lightweight that at 40k miles and 5yrs old wheel bearings need replaced.
  
  Anybody else been suffering wheel bearing issues?
