Adaptive Cruise Control recalibration
Hello all.
This is more for information than anything else.
I have a 2017 tdv6 with ACC.
Ever since I fitted the a discreet winch, I have sporadically received a "sensor blocked" message.
I stumbled across the "recalibrate" function for the ACC on the Gap Tool, and thought I would try it.
Even though GAP say it isn't supported, it seems to work.
It removes the calibration of the sensor, and makes the ACC not work any more.
You will get a flashing icon on your dashboard, and if you try to engage the Cruise Control, you will get a message that Cruise is not available.
I then had to drive on the motorway for approx 20 minutes and now it has calibrated again and is working.
It remains to be seen if the "sensor blocked" message comes back again, but I have driven for 20 mins since then and it has not reared its ugly head.
Will keep you informed.
