    Roof rails - silver or black?

    Advice appreciated. I need to buy a set of roof rails for my car for occasional top box use, have searched on here and found lots of useful info on fitting etc.

    My problem is I can’t decide between silver or black. My car is corris grey and I think either would be ok but all I seem to find on the net are pictures of cars with black rails, even on the LR used website (perhaps that’s telling me everything).. My gut says black as there’s lots of black trim on the car and my existing Thule roof bars and box are black but they’re only on the car for 2-3 weeks a year so I don’t necessarily need to match them up. But… there’s also a few bits of silver trim on the car too.

    Anyone able to share a photo of their grey D5 with roof bars, particularly silver silver that I can use in my decision making process?

    I’m glad I didn’t have this problem as mine has black pack and black roof, so black rails were the only choice Thumbs Up

    I also need to fit rails, I’m going black, interested on where you manage to get yours from, and at what cost.

    I went for genuine from duckworth lr, as whilst some of the copies are pretty good I have heard one or two folks say the casting and fittings aren’t as well finished off.
