  Does anyone experienced fuel stain?

  Hello,
  
  does anyone experienced fuel (diesel in this case) stain like the attached picture on a Disco 5 2.0 240? I’ve checked the cap and for what I can say everything looks good, it’s fully closed, the rubber seal is present and to my eyes it’s in good condition. I saw a spring in it, but I didn’t check it too much.
  
  Could it be the just the cap? Any suggestions?
