    Starting issues

    Hi My 2017 D5 doesn’t start immediately but turns over for a couple of seconds before catching. After it’s been standing say a week it won’t rev properly and stalls or threatens to for about two minutes until it seems like the fuel starts to get through properly. Is this a known fault or does anyone have any idea what it might be? I’m thinking fuel filter or possibly pump. Thanks.

    I am having trouble with my FE Y17. Sometimes the engine won't turn even though the vehicle is powered and after several attempts, it starts normally.

    Did you get to the bottom of your issue?

    A dealer told me it might be a loss of compression, although my independent garage said nonsense - and then I did resolve it - I sold the car.
