    2017 Discovery SDV6 HSE Scotia Grey

    Oil pan change ZF 8HP

    Getting D5 after years of driving D2 / D3 and D4. Last D4 had same auto transmission as has D5. But taking the oil pan of thé auto transmission out was a pain.

    Is it easier and straight forward on the D5?

    I have only done oil changes on the D5, but from what I remember when I last did the oil change the oil pan should be easy to do.

    No cross member in its way? That would be easy peasy them.

    Perhaps someone can come up with a picture or LR work flow?
