    Locking fuel flap

    I have noticed my fuel filler flap does not appear to lock . Has anyone else noticed this on MY23 D5?
    Discovery 5 D300 Metropolitan.

    Yes. Mine too. Something about lack of chips?? It's just a solenoid so can't understand why this would be dropped.

    I've heard this elsewhere, so after a year of ownership, I thought I'd give the fuel flap a prod with the car locked. To my shock, it opened. Crying or Very sad
