    2020 Discovery SDV6 HSE Lux Farallon Black

    New D5 HSE Lux owner

    Hey all,

    New D5 owner here, picked this 2020 HSE Lux yesterday.

    I've had a pretty escalated introduction to Land Rovers, about 6 weeks ago I was looking for a D3 as a daily (I had a 2019 Jeep Wrangler as a toy), managed to persuade myself that I'd be better off with a D4 as it's newer, ended up with a 2013 HSE. 4 weeks later, decided to swap the Jeep and D4 in for a D5 so here I am.

    Did an 80 mile journey today with ease and it was such a lovely drive.

    Congrats on the new motor! Sounds like a very exciting and fast-moving JLR journey!

    Enjoy the D5. I’ve had mine for c. 7-8months now after a lifetime of BMWs and Porsches and absolutely loving it.

    Second hand tow trust bar with new electrics fitted today, took about 6 hours but a lot of that time was spent watching videos on how to remove various components.

    Got a new witters bike rack which I’ve given a quick test of and electrics working ok.

    Both the rack and tow bar are highly recommended 👍

    Test install of the Witter 4 bike rack and electrics. All good and seems really secure.
