What did you discover? I'd also like a bit more sidewall, the alternative I've considered is downgrading the alloys to 20".
I wonder, if you did install larger tyres how do you reconfigure the speedo etc? My Ottofix D1 has a service function 'change wheel size' but on this car it says 'not supported'.

20" Defender rims work quite well, and there are more cheap options available than the limited Discovery market.

I agree! I've just put Defender 20's on my D300. I really like the look, the feel & the price of them too!

Ended up getting 285 45 22 yokohama geolander a/ts. Tyre place couldn't get a set of 4 grabbers anytime soon so opted for the yokohamas. £70 per tyre cheaper too 😎
