Good morning,
I hope this is in the right place to post this...
My front passenger side (UK) wheel bearing has failed on my 2018 D5 with air. It is making a real droning noise when driving. With the diso jacked up and chocked in place I can select N and rotate the wheel and it sounds like the bearing is full of sand

All the other wheels rotate smoothly with not a sound.
Anyway to replace it I have now decided to remove the whole knuckle with the bearing and hub left in place and have them pressed out and a new bearing pressed in at my local fabricators who have a 20t press.
I bought the bearing and hub pullers to do it but once the drive shaft is out there is nothing for the hub puller to push against to apply the force to draw the hub out. With the drive shaft in place you could push against the "stub" but I think it would be too much pressure to put down it directly into the diff. Is this correct? Does anyone know how to remove the hubs in place?
My second question is on the bottom of the knuckle where both lower control arms attach there is a M16 flanged nut with a torx bit in the center (LR034221 - M16) I have never removed one like this and wondered if I need a special tool and what the correct method is. The rest of it came apart nice and easy but this stopped me in my tracks over the weekend!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
