Dash Hazard Button
I just acquired a 2018 Disco 5 TDV6 HSE.
The internal dash hazard button (above the mdeia unit between the two air vents) is not working. Indicators working on the wheel stalks and not faults thrown up and no fuses seem to be faulty.
The garage I purchased from MOTd the vehicle on Thursday last week and it arrived to me Friday. They swear blind that it was working during the MOT test and suggest the button could be sticky?
They have sent out a replacement button as a gesture but suggested I try prizing out the button to see if it is sticky or has faulty connections to the back.
Anyone had a similar issue?

Ahh, a fellow islander. Ciamar a tha thu-fhèin?
Never had a hazard switch fail before, especially if the indicators work independently...but besides button-mashing the hazard button several times or spraying some contact cleaner around the edges to see if that sorts it out, it would indeed sound like a sticky button.
I've never tried removing mine to see how easy it is to remove...but plastic panel tools would seem to be the way to go.

Will try the sprays to clean it first.
At least it's an actual button and not part of the touch screen!
