Oxygen sensor replacement
I’ve had an intermittent emission light coming on which has been diagnosed as an oxygen sensor.
I’ve got a petrol D5 and apparently it has 4 oxygen sensors (2 upstream and 2 downstream of the cat)
Would the diagnostic identify WHICH of the 4 is faulty?
It’s into the garage on Tuesday and getting them to commit to how long the job will take is like trying to get blood out of stone. I appreciate bedded in parts can take effort/time to remove.
Just wondered (all going well of course) how big a job it is and …..I hoped they wouldn’t add to the time by having to remove all 4 in a trial an error excercise!
It’s not just the cost. I have a long and important trip to make the next day and don’t know if I should postpone the trip (though it could cause major complications ) to be in the safe side.
Thoughts?
