    Hood Release

    Went to top up my AdBlue at the weekend. Only half the Hood (LHS only) unlocked, Had to prose it with someone pulling the leaver and me prising the Hood.

    I've drowned the latch in WD40, but its still not unlocking.

    you have to pull the handle super hard up until the second latch releases. i deal with this constantly on mine. no clue how i can fix it

    Replace the cable

    There was a service notice for this a while back. Mine was replaced under warranty at the very least, but it's beginning to stretch again. Give the hood a good hard CPR-like chest compression and try again, pulling the hood release with purpose, but not in anger.
