    Infotainment

Is there a way to hard reset the infotainment system.?

I have an iPod touch plugged in to the USB port and use it solely as a source for audio.

Over the last week the system has been playing up. Any album that I now select from the car's touchscreen lists the first and second track multiple times. The remaining tracks are listed in order but only up to the the total number of trackers. For example, one album, with 13 tracks lists track 1 as the first 3 tracks, track 2 as 4 and the next 4 being listed twice. Tracks 10-13 from the album aren't visible.

I've tried plugging in different devices with different content but the issue recurs when the original device is plugged back in. Devices with the same content suffer the same problem.

It seems like the system is storing and showing incomplete data mixed with the device data...

    Through the media player settings.

I have copied all my music from the PC to USB, then imported from the USB to the media player ( HDD ).

I have just plugged in my old iPod and that works OK, but if I click on the settings using that, the Import function is grayed out.

Not sure what is going on with yours! Shocked

Nothing on the HDD. Trying a factory reset on the iPod now.

Seems a factory reset of the iPod and resinstalling the tracks worked.

I also tried to play off a USB stick, but the system couldn't find any playable tracks - I just copied my iTunes library. Should it read .m4a files? What is the storage size of the HDD?
