Remote engine start from app
Hi
My D5 hasn't arrived yet but I was wondering what connectivity does the car need for the app to work
Is it via the optional SIM Card or does it have other connectivity that enables the apps to work
I suppose it's the same question for intelligent seat fold

Hi. Neither of those features requires the SIM, or at least they don't in mine! I think they work because of the 'in-control' subscription.

That's correct. But you will need a mobile signal / wifi where you are with your mobile and the car. Being in an area with no phone reception for the car or your mobile has caught me out a few times...
