    Easy Entry and Exit

    Hi
Really useful forum and have been lurking for a while having owned a couple of D4's for the last 7 years, but I was lucky enough to upgrade to a D5 back in March.
I've had a couple of the reported gremlins such as the rogue message about the transmission not being in Park, when I know it was, and have had a sticking tailgate which I've fixed with Silicone spray after reading one of the threads on here.
However, one issue eludes me and before I book it into the dealer, I wondered if anyone had any bright ideas.
The "Easy Entry & Exit system" where the seat goes down when you exit and rises when you shut the door and turn the ignition on bugs me and I'd like to disable it.
Page 32 of the manual says that I should have an option in the Instrument panel menu to enable or disable this feature. I've been through every section of the Instrument Panel Menu several times, in every state (Engine on & running, Engine off, ignition on etc) but I don't have this option in there.
    Am I missing something ?
    Any suggestions welcomed.

It is on the adjustment switch on the side of the steering column. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes. Already been there. That disables the steering wheel moving on Entry/Exit, but the seat still moves.
I should have a menu option, but I can't find it.

Too slow - pretty sure on mine it controlled both but will double check tonight.

The steering wheel knob does stop this. I suspect that you are using a key fob that is not synchronised with your preferred seat position, and it keeps going back to the setting that it is synchronised with.

Get into the car, with the key fob you normally use, set your seat position and then press the memory button "M" on the armrest, then "1". That will store your seat setting and with lazy entry switched off the seat shouldn't move.

    There is no menu option.

    Many Thanks Guys

Just been out to the vehicle and messed around with the steering column switch and the seat memory and all is good with the world again.

I blame the manual for misleading me !

Your responses put me on the right track
