    I guess it is tricky to remember



    Was a passenger last night and spotted this, they topped the AdBlue up about a month ago as they didn't fill it on delivery like many others. Doesn't fill you with a lot of confidence, but at least they left it "on" the car.

    Anyone know about risks of contamination, it looks like I should have it flushed and replaced. Online it suggests you should discard it if the container is left open.

    That is the ad blue filler cap right? Wow I did a walk round with my dealer who showed me where the cap was, guess the dealer who sold this one missed that?

    They topped it up a month ago and then left it off. Been like that for about 1500 miles. They checke for any DEF errors and said it was ok but I wonder if it should have been flushed, especially as it can crystallise when hot and it is allowe to evaporate. It should have been filled for delivery so now been in twice for something that shouldn't have happened.
