    Activity Key

    My local dealer quoted me for the activity key:

    The key is £117.11 + VAT, the module is £207.00 + VAT and the labor is £156.00 Incl VAT

    This seems expensive to me, any thoughts.

    Wonder if I can fit the part in the tailgate myself and just have it coded in?

    It doesn't look very difficult. I don't know about coding it. The IID tool doesn't have full functionality for the D5 yet.

    Looking at LR's accessories website this looks expensive - they list vehicle preparation kit at £281.00 including VAT and retailer fitting costs and the activity key at £141.00 including VAT. This is about what I paid to get one fitted - works a treat!

    Looks like dealer is adding fitting charge which is already included Shocked
