Test drive
Had a test drive today in a D5 D300 SE. A very nice drive indeed, the new engine is super quiet and smooth. I also tried a new Defender 110 with the D200 engine. Quite a difference in power but was also very quiet and smooth. The new dynamic certainly feels more taught in the corners compared to my previous D5. Now looking forward to my new D5 even more now.

Dunno, if I had to pick, I’d think about the 110 over the Disco. It can’t be long before the Disco has a body make over.

Well it’s just had a midlife refresh so still quite a few years off being replaced. I also had a similar idea mind but I think if you don’t need the hardcore off-road capabilities the Disco is nicer / more practical. Love the Defenders looks though.

Yes I believe the Disco is better value for money, but I would be quite happy with a Defender.
