Interesting that all are going for diesels at the moment even though the tax on them will go through the roof not long after deliveries start..........

£3k difference is my reason for sticking with diesel plus a minor detail of about 17 mpg. In two years time, LR might have produced a hybrid petrol/electric by which time, I should still be on the right side of the equation.

Of course, that's "if" i get my order before 1 Apr 17. Laughing

Just had the part-ex price for my vehicle against the New D5 and I am pleased with the outcome.

The people from the dealership that I use went up to Eastnor last week for their first drive of the (pre-production) vehicles. They were all well impressed and the common remark was that the 2.0 litre both on road and off road was very impressive and difficult to tell apart from the 3.0 litre versions.. I hope that they're correct. Laughing

My dealer planning to lend me their new RR Sport with the 2.0D engine. Looks great on paper. especially as I'm in a D3 so the uplift in PS and torque (& reduction in fuel consumption) should feel noticeable. Finger's crossed.

    Ok then - I'll nibble!

How do you vote? - nothing gives me a clue on my PC or ipad and I need to add another 3.0D to the mix

    Scrumps - mildly frustrated !
