FBH - 2nd Remote fob
Hi,
If you have Park Heat you only get one FBH remote fob - for two sets of keys!
If you go to LR they are £300 under Part No. LR033464
You can find them on a popular auction site for around £20 ! (Search under "Pre-heater Remote Fob")
If you buy one - you need to pair it with the car.
Here is the procedure (for a UK car):-
1. Remove fuse F27 (5A) from the Passenger Compartment Fuse box (upper left behind the lower glove box).
2. Wait for a minimum of 5 seconds.
3. Replace fuse F27 (5A) then, within 5 seconds, press and hold the remote control OFF switch.
4. A successful pairing is indicated by the remote control Light Emitting Diode (LED) illuminating red for 2 seconds.
5. Check for correct operation.

Is it the same as the D4 ones, If so I have a spare one for a few beer tokens.
Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

D4 is the same as RRS 1. The fob is quite "rounded" almost like a pebble.
The D5 is the same as my RRS2 ( and RRE) - a bit more "angular".
The two types are on the auction site - if you have the one for a D5 from the Dealer it's pretty obvious.

Dose removing the fuse disconnect the original remote,or dose that stay connected??

No it doesn’t on the D4 but the D5 remote has always been a bit hit and miss and you never knew if it was running unless you looked at your phone !
As the green LED didn’t flash on the plipper like on the D4.
So I’ve just tried it this morning and it was -4 outside and it didn’t work so I’ve been and reprogrammed the original remote again and hooray it fired first time and the green LED on the plipper is now flashing as it should
So if you have park heat and problems like mine go and re-pair the remote
