    If you spec up an RRS 3.0 V6 S/C HSE Dynamic there are also some cosmetic items that are standard on the SDv6 that have a little asterisk beside them in the configurator and when you go to the footnotes the asterisk states "not available on V6 S/C" - these are things like the troublesome red brake calipers. Makes me wonder why you cannot have them on the petrol engined version............ and if D5 will be the same

    Could be a logistical thing?

    They start by getting/ checking they have everything needed for build.

    I think the date may be just the week end that the build commences. My build date was last Friday and I got a call from my dealer saying it was built and in transit to them on Tuesday morning.

    I was at the dealers ordering mine the week before last, I was given 24th March build date and he went on to explain all cars are given a Friday but it means it will be built some day that week. I was really surprised with the date as I was expecting a longer wait.
